LAMBING SEASON BRINGS …
The Camlea Charollais lambing season is one of the busiest times of the year.
Bringing multiple births, commonly twins, triplets, with the occasional quads and tuplets.
The Camlea Charollais ewe is a very milky ewe, with fantastic motherly instincts.
More than capable of rearing three with ease. They birth out easily, with a low birth weight, with rapid growth thereafter.
We have found the Charollais ewes produces more than ample supplies of colostrum, which in turn gives the newborn lambs an immense advantage from birth onwards.
